So here’s a document that was missing from the latest haul of Freedom of Information documents we were sent by a local resident. Our source, had to go back to the council and specifically ask for it.
The October 2022 Breach Of Planning Control
Just to put this into context, resident’s raised a fresh breach report with the council in October 2022, relating to the addition of a full blown madrassa, to go with the existing mosque operating at Hamptons.
The council began their investigation, and asked the Chelmsford Muslim Society to supply full information about the madrassa, which they did not do.
In December 2022 , Planning Enforcement served a Planning Contravention Notice, which legally compelled CMS to supply the request information.
Here is the actual document and responses, we’ll pass no comment, and leave you to make up your own mind about the quality of the information supplied.
In our opinion, these responses are evasive, deliberately lacking in detail, and not compliant with the the council’s request for information.
