No Place For Hate At Hamptons

We were disgusted to learn of an event to be held at Hamptons on 5th July 2025.

It’s something we’ve highlighted over and over, a family orientated sports and leisure centre is no place for pro Hamas, pro Palestine, anti-semitic political rallies. It’s no wonder that local residents don’t want to spend money at Hamptons.

As a responsible business, owned by a registered charity, they have to carry out diligence on who hires the venue, who speaks there, and for what purpose.

Let’s take a look at the speakers:

Rev Stephen Sizer

In 2023 Rev Dr Stephen Sizer was banned by the Church of England until 2030 (article), for anti-Semitism. This follows a final warning given to him by the Bishop of Guildford (article).

Rabbi El-Hanan Beck

Rabbi Beck is a member of the Neturei Karta, a small and highly controversial sect of anti-Zionist ultra-Orthodox Jews, who have gained an outsized reputation due to their extremist beliefs and actions against the State of Israel.

Rabbi Beck is often front and centre at pro Palestine demos, even attending the hateful Al Quds annual demos in London, where marchers openly display Hamas and Hezebollah flags, both organisations being proscribed in the UK.

Sheikh Mahmood Almadani

The good Sheikh is a visiting “teacher/tutor” from the UAE. Although there’s not a huge amount known about his beliefs, he has been visiting a lot of mosques in East London over the last two years.

Is this modern age of technology, it’s pretty rare to find only a few videos online, from someone who does so many lectures. That automatically makes us a little suspicious.

Chelmsford demo on the same day

Everyone back to Hamptons for some frozen samosas and warm mango juice ?

We note that one of the listed speakers is from a soon to be proscribed terrorist organisation. A draft proscription order will be laid in Parliament on Monday 30 June 205.

If passed, it will make it illegal to be a member of, or to invite support for, Palestine Action. Hamptons Sports & Leisure Limited please take note !!

Potentially any counter protestors from the demo, could follow the speakers back to Hamptons.

Now this isn’t the first pro Palestine event at Hamptons. They’ve hosted film screenings, “childrens events” in Bubu’s Cafe, and even allowed the Palestine Solidarity Campaign to have a stall at the “Open Day”.

Unbelievably the management at Hamptons can’t understand why the wider community won’t frequent the venue, we’d suggest that they reconsider hosting controversial political events like this.

OR maybe it isn’t really a sports and leisure centre after all !
